I have been waiting for a blue sky to take the lilac tree.  Sunday was just right!
Another few photographs for the Photograph a Day Challenge at Pixelscrapper.  My best friend, Lesley, bought me the orchid last year for my birthday.  It is beautiful and just keeps on flowering!  I found out today that I forgot her birthday so I telephoned to apologise.  Honestly I could kick myself sometimes!

Annie had a trim today, I took heer outside for a photo-shoot, but she decided she would rather go back indoors!

I hope you like your free paper.

Last, but not least!  My cheeky grand daughter who is starting to be a lot of fun!!
These are my weeks photographs for the "Photograph a Day"  challenge at Pixelscrapper,   For the most part I was taking photographs to make into elements.

You can see two photographs of the hall floor and the kitchen floor.  The top paper is made from the kitchen floor photograph , the bottom paper is made from the hall floor photograph.  The paper inbetween is made from a photograph of my daughter's wallpaper!! (Which was cream)  The horse is also from her house!  I have been round there quite a bit this week!  The top preview shows a dandelion that I took a picture of,  I gave up trying to totally extract it!  I couldn't manage to extract the seeds either so I used an image from the Net as an overlay on the one I took.

The Alopecia Blogtrain starts tomorrow, you will find my portion here

I am so behind this week!  This is my preview for the  Alopecia Areata Awareness Blog Train later this month.
And this preview is for week 3 for Pixelscrappers Element a Day Challenge.
There were not any takers for the Retro papers so I decided not to upload the second half.  Instead today I am giving you two wild flower freebies from the Briggs collection.
Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with this weeks  Photograph a Day selection.  Hope you have a great weekend.

The bracket I made using a template from Pixelscrapper.  The Rose is from a template made by Sugarbutt Designs. I learned how to do Ric Rac yesterday!

They are free if you would like them and there are a few more here

The April "Paper A Day" challenge at Pixelscrapper is nearly over. One of the challenges was to use Fine Art as inspiration. In a very roundabout way I used George Stubbs painting of horses. I say roundabout because it inspired me to do a horsey one and I looked through my horse folder and found a black and white sketch from a story book on Gutenberg. I really like how this one worked out. The next two papers we could choose our own theme.  I found two great woodcuts on vintageprintables.com and used these as the bottom layer of my papers.  You will find your freebie  here

I had to stand for 20 minutes Monday while waiting in the queue in the Post Office. Just as I thought I was going to have to leave, my turn came, but I have suffered these past few day!   Now this morning I wanted to groom Annie and do some more sorting out upstairs. After a particular difficult knotty bit, I let Annie relax and went upstairs, closely followed by Annie who holds no grudges!! I sorted out my wool box - what keep, what to get rid of, put most of it back again (laughing!) I had two empty containers from an early turn out and downstairs was the contents of our old caravan, waiting to be put in to our new one when it arrives.   So I took those downstairs and did some useful sorting there. In the middle I put on some worship music so of course every now and then I had to raise my hands in worship and praise The Lord!      Decided to have a coffee,   Annie wanted to go out, I left the door open while I made my coffee.   When I looked outside I couldn't see her so I went outside, decided to clear out the small pond while I was out there (mad eh!) refilled it with water had no energy left (no really!) so just switched off the hose and came in. Reheated my coffee, sat down exhausted and thought I am just off my head! Still got to do Annie and sort it upstairs - oh well there is always tomorrow.  These are my latest papers.
Your freebies is a lovely rose digi from Briggs Embroidery designs.
