Do you struggle to pray without your mind wandering? Well I struggle to do anything from start to finish, without doing something else in between. Sometimes , in the middle of one project, I'll go to get something and see something else, which starts me thinking or doing something different (too many somethings, but you get the picture!!). So this morning I was thinking about making a prayer book to help me keep focused, which led me to Google the Ten Commandments to see if I could find a simplified version for a page. I found a version for children on DLTK 's site. Now at this point I had to get a parcel ready to post and then the BT engineer arrived, so I didn't get back to this till later - much later. I decided to look for a background for the page, played around with it in Elements. The photograph made me think of a hymn "Once more down along the road I go", I googled it only to find it is under copyright so after a fruitless search for something else, I wrote my own.
Here is the finished page, this is 8 x 8, but I haven't decided on the album size yet. So I guess a page on the Ten Commandments is next!
